links + love June 2020 edition

These past few months have been heavy on us all … the pandemic spreading worldwide, jobs being taken away, small businesses struggling to stay afloat and the protests supporting Black Lives, just to name a few … I know most of us are looking to have a bit of normalcy back in our lives. So let’s dive into some links + love to make us feel a little more normal.

Since summer has officially hit Wisconsin – yay – my hubby and I have been using our grill much more these past few weeks. I have a slight intolerance to wheat and am always looking for gluten free options that taste just as good as regular wheat items.

If you are looking for gluten-free hot dog buns or hamburger buns, you need to look at the company Schar. Highly recommend a lot of their products for gluten-free alternatives!

Summer time means bare feet – which beg for pretty nail polish. Since becoming a mom I have been leaning more towards healthy choices both in food and everyday products. So when reading up on nail polish and what it contains – it doesn’t sound the greatest or healthiest.

I have been loving these ella + mila nail polish colors and that they are part of the “7-Free” products, since they do not contain: Formaldehyde, Toluene, DiButyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, TPHP, Xylene. Yikes – that’s a mouth full! I love finding products that are starting to get rid of these nasty chemicals.
